Established in 1926 as Bethany Orphanage by Miss Marjorie Burt and Miss Laura Wendland, Bethany Christian Mission is a non-denominational mission organization with a primary focus on Christian education. Located in the foothills of the beautiful Appalachian mountains in Kentucky, Bethany has been serving the needs of Wolfe County and beyond for many years. Relying on God for all their needs, Bethany, which has been in continual ministry for 85 years, provides both spiritual and physical help to the surrounding communities.
